Patricia Rooney Mara (née en 1985) est une actrice américaine de cinéma et de télévision. Mara a fait ses débuts d'actrice en 2005 et a joué dans des films comme A Nightmare on Elm Street, le remake du film d'horreur de 1984 et The Social Network. Mara présentera Lisbeth Salander, le personnage principal de The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, le premier de trois films de Sony Pictures basés sur la série de livres Millennium de Stieg Larsson.
Mara est également connue pour son travail caritatif. Elle supervise l'organisation caritative Faces of Kibera, qui bénéficie aux orphelins du bidonville de Kibera à Nairobi, au Kenya, l'un des plus grands bidonvilles d'Afrique.
