Walter Elias Disney dit Walt Disney est un producteur, réalisateur, scénariste et animateur américain, né le 5 décembre 1901 à Chicago (Illinois) et mort le 15 décembre 1966 à Burbank (Californie).
Il fonde en 1923 la société Walt Disney Company et devient progressivement l'un des producteurs de films les plus célèbres. Walt Disney est aussi le créateur du premier « parc à thèmes », inventant ce concept. Connu pour avoir été un conteur d'histoire et une vedette de télévision, lui et son équipe ont créé un bon nombre des personnages animés les plus connus au monde, dont l'un est considéré à la suite d'une interprétation romantique de plusieurs journalistes comme son alter ego : Mickey Mouse.
